The Other Side of a Dime

It is said that life can turn on a dime.

That just one day can forever alter your existence.

Sometimes that day takes you completely by surprise. In other instances, it is a day that you have been planning for your entire life.

June 24, 2003 was that day for me.

It was the day I met my husband.

Today, June 24, 2018, is that day for my sister as she sets out to follow her dreams to Colorado.

It seems to me that June 24th is a fine day to explore the other side of a dime.
