It’s been a while since the stoic in me ranted. This blog tends to gather dust when the left brain takes over.
But a three-hour drive through the scenic Georgia mountains - with a killer playlist and one wrong turn - was all it took for the right brain to come out of hiding.
As GPS led me down a desolate, unpaved road, I had no idea whether it would spit me out at a main intersection… or at a dead end with banjo boy waiting in the mist.
And yet, somewhere along that rocky detour, I had a right-brain epiphany.
I’ve traveled many roads in my lifetime - plenty of which I was never meant to roam.
Although I sometimes arrived late, I always ended up exactly where I was supposed to be.
Even the unintended detours knew the way to my destination.
Perhaps being lost is an illusion.
No one is ever truly astray - only rerouted by something much wiser.
Have faith in the wrong turns.
Even they will lead to exactly where you were headed.
